Making a Reservation

Please call for availability and rental information. Reservations can be made 60 days in advance; only two campsites per authorized patron.

• Patrons must check in/out with OREC clerk in BLDG 6800.
• Check-in/out time is 1300.

Directions

1. Drive North on “D” street.
2. Make a left at the third stop sign (Mokapu Blvd.)
3. Drive across runway.
4. Take the first left and continue across the old abandoned runway we call “West Field”.
5. Make a hard right and turn on to Perimeter Rd.
6. Drive about 1/4 mile and take the left hand turn at the signs for Hale Koa Recreation Area.
7. Park in the Main Parking Lot.

Rules & Regulations

• No glass containers allowed.
• No pets.
• All cars must park in the large public parking area.
• No driving or parking on the beach or wetland areas.
• No open ground fires (fires permitted in BBQ).
• No cutting or chopping of trees.
• Patrons must clean up and police their space prior to leaving.
• Tents (max 2) permitted in designated campsite areas only.
• Quiet hours are 2300-0800.
• Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive days.
• A $50 cleaning fee will be assessed for sites not adequately cleaned.
