MAG-24 Ohana Trunk-or-Treat

Friday, October 25, 1500 – 1900 | MCX Parking Lot
Family-friendly unit-run Trick or Treat experience on base.

This unit-run trick-or-treat family event is coordinated and hosted by MAG-24 but is open to all units for participation!

Families can enjoy a safe trick-or-treat event by visiting over 30 vehicle trunks that will be decorated and decked out. Enjoy the creativity and treats offered by the trunk hosts. Vehicles will feature Halloween or squadron-themed activities that allow for safe and family-friendly engagement, and treats, including candy, snacks, stickers, or other appropriate prizes, may be provided to participants.

However, as there may be large crowds, participants will be responsible for supervising their children or family/household members throughout the event and are expected to take personal responsibility for their health and safety while participating in the event.

Costume & Trunk Contest

Costume Contest, 1600-1700

1645-1700   Winners announcements, must be present to win

Participants interested in entering the costume contest must complete the costume contest form available from the Information Booth near the MCX Rotunda. (The form may be picked up/filled out any time after 1500 but no later than 1615).

Contestants for the costume contest will be judged between 1600-1645, with the winners announced between 1645-1700 at the event. Six winners (who must be present to win) will be selected based on the following categories, with each winner receiving a prize courtesy of MCCS Hawaii:

1. Too Cute to Spook (best baby costume)
2. Fang-tacular (best kid costume, ages 10 & under)
3. MonSTAR (best tween/teen costume)
4. Boo Crew (best family/group costume)
5. Terrorific (scariest adult costume)
6. If You've Got it, Haunt it (most creative/ironic adult costume)

Trick or Trot Fun Run

Get ready for a frightfully fun fitness experience with the Trick or Trot Fun Run! Whether you're sprinting as a superhero, jogging as a ghost, or walking as a witch, everyone is encouraged to join in the spooky spirit.

COSTUME PRIZES! Prizes will be awarded for the most creative costumes, so don't hold back on your Halloween flair!

HEALTHY HALLOWEEN FUN: It’s the perfect way to enjoy a healthy dash of Halloween fun to balance the sweets & treats of the other Boo-nanza festivities!
