Los Angeles-based rock band Dorothy will headline Rocktoberfest 2024 as our annual outdoor music festival returns to the Public House Backyard on Thursday, Oct. 17. Open to all authorized patrons, it's an evening of music, food, and games. Admission is free.

Dorothy was built around vocalist & songwriter Dorothy Martin. Born in Budapest and raised in San Diego, her Southern California roots paired with access to her family’s vinyl collection resulted in a laid back, yet nasty rock sound. Dubbed by Rolling Stone magazine as “a band you need to know,” Dorothy has been featured in outlets including Nylon, Complex, Loudwire, and Blabbermouth.

Opening band Diamante brings a new fire to rock and alternative music. She has toured extensively with bands like Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and The Pretty Reckless, among others. Sonically, Diamante has cultivated her signature “sparkle rock" sound.

The event gets underway at 5 p.m. Two new activities for all patrons will include hippo chow down (bungee style inflatable game) and lagoon of doom (log rolling). All patrons may also participate in a stein hoisting competition, mechanical bull riding, hammer-schlagen, bucket ball, ring toss, and more. DJ Big Mike will also be on hand to provide entertainment prior to the concerts.

Everyone can enjoy free German food featuring brats and pulled BBQ chicken as well pretzels & warm beer cheese. Free beer tastings will also be available.
