April 1 SAAPM. Day of Action - Wear Teal. The first Tuesday of every April is the SAAPM Day of Action.
April 1 EFMP Scavenger Hunt & Special Needs Forum. Forum begins at 1400 a@ Bldg 219, Rm 106. Egg Hunt, 1430 starts @ EFMP office. Anyone can participate!
April 1-30 Library Bookmark Contest. Celebrate National Library Week by leaving your mark on the library—literally! We’re looking for young artists to design our next official bookmarks.
April 3 Child Abuse Prevention. Go Blue Day! Wear your favorite blue in honor of your commitment to preventing child abuse.
April 3 SAAPM. Empowerment & Action Self-defense Class. 0900-1100 @ Human Performance Center. Participants learn to think critically and react appropriately in high stress situations, which is a valuable skill both in and out of self-defense scenarios. Open to all with base access. April 7 Financial Literacy. Thrift Savings Plan PFMP Workshop. 0800-0900 @ Ed Center. Understand retirement plan fund options, fees, contributions at separation or retirement.
April 7 Financial Literacy. Continuation Pay PFMP Workshop. 0900-1000 @ Education Center. Understand contribution retirement plan, available bonus under BRS.
April 7 Financial Literacy. Marriage & Money PFMP Workshop. 1300-1430 @ Education Center. Essential planning information for couples and individuals preparing for marriage.

April 15 MOMC. PURPLE UP! On April 15th, recognize some of the military's most unsung heroes - their children. Wear purple (which represents all branches of the military, showing unity with each other).
April 15 EFMP Sensory-Friendly Storytime. 1000 @ Base Library Classroom 106. Stories & activities tailored to kids’ sensory needs.
April 16 Alcohol Awareness. Dodgeball Tournament. 0900-1100 @ SF Main Gym Basketball Courts. Register with your unit SACO. Earn Na Koa points!
April 16 MOMC Storytime with the Library. 0915-1000 @ Mokapu Mall Courtyard. Ages 0-5. Wear purple to this special storytime celebrating military kids.

April 24 Volunteer Month. Installation Volunteer Ceremony. 0900-1000 @ Dewey Square. Celebrate our community heroes.
April 29 SAAPM - Denim Day. Show solidarity, spread awareness, make a statement. Wear denim. Learn the history of denim day.
April 30 Wrap-up Event. 0900-1100 & 1300-1500 @ Base Chapel. Qualifies as annual training requirement for E5 and below.

Community Counseling Program (CCP) & Military & Family Life Counselors (MFLCs)

Offer confidential, short-term counseling and emotional support to individuals and families impacted by Domestic Violence.

Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)

Supports military families with special medical and/or educational needs.

Family Advocacy Program (FAP)

Offers education, support, and intervention services to help keep families safe and connected to care.

New Parent Support Program (NPSP)

Offers home visits, parenting classes, and emotional support to new or expecting parents, reducing stress and risk factors that can contribute to family issues.

Personal Financial Management Program (PFMP)

Learn about budgeting, financial planning, and resources to help achieve financial wellness and reach goals.

Sexual Assault Prevention & Response (SAPR)

Supports survivors of sexual assault, offering advocacy, reporting options, and care.

Substance Assessment Counseling Center (SACC)

Provides counseling and treatment for those struggling with substance use, addressing underlying issues.

Volunteer Management Program

Connects organizations and volunteers to provide meaningful volunteering opportunities that strengthen the military community and enhance the well-being of Marines and their families.
