54 Holes. Four Flights. One Tournament Champion.

Bring your game to the Klipper Golf Course for the 2026 Klipper Amateur Golf Tournament. This three-day, 54-hole stroke play event welcomes up to 120 amateur golfers competing across four flights, with the overall tournament champion determined by the lowest 54-hole score. From the Championship Flight to the Senior Flight, players will compete for flight honors, gift certificates and the chance to claim the tournament title.

Tournament Details

• Dates: October 22–24, 2026
• Format: 54-Hole Stroke Play
• Field: Limited to 120 golfers
• Eligibility: Amateur golfers with a GHIN Handicap

Entry Fee

• Military: $210
• Civilian: $225

Entry includes green fees for three tournament rounds plus one practice round Monday–Wednesday. Cart fees are not included.

Flights & Competition
Players will compete in flights based on handicap:

• Championship Flight: 0.0–4.9 Handicap Index
• A Flight: 5.0–9.9 Handicap Index
• B Flight: 10.0–19.9 Handicap Index
• Senior Flight: Players who are 55 years old before the first day of competition

Tee times and flight assignments will be posted one week prior, on October 15 at 12:00 PM.

The tournament champion will be the player with the lowest 54-hole score, regardless of flight assignment. Ties for flight winners will be decided by sudden-death playoff.

An Active Duty Champion will also be recognized. This award goes to the Active Duty player with the lowest net score after 36 holes. Ties will be determined by scorecard playoff.

Practice Rounds
Practice rounds are available October 19–21. Players may contact the Klipper Pro Shop up to 11 days in advance to schedule a tee time.

Tournament Schedule
October 22–24
Three rounds of 54-hole stroke-play competition.

The field will be cut by approximately 50% after 36 holes. Lunch will be provided Thursday and Friday, with the awards ceremony held following the final round.

Registration
Entries must be received by COB Monday, October 5, 2026. Incomplete entry forms will not be accepted. Players will be notified by email regarding acceptance.

All entries are subject to approval by the Tournament Committee, which reserves the right to accept or deny entries. Players may also be reassigned to a different flight if their scores indicate an inaccurate handicap before or during the tournament.

Cancellation deadline: Cancellations must be received by COB October 12, 2026 to be eligible for a refund.

Dress Code
Collared shirts and spikeless golf shoes are required. Swimwear, gym attire and cutoffs are not permitted.

Prizes
Gift certificates will be awarded, with the prize pool determined by the number of entries in each flight. The awards ceremony will take place following the final round.

For Civilian Players & Guests
Civilian participants who are playing in the tournament will receive a Special Events Pass for the duration of the tournament, including practice rounds.

Players and guests are encouraged to apply for a Public Partners Program (PPP) pass, which provides one year of base access and authorized use of the Golf Course and Bowling Alley. PPP members receive a vehicle sticker and ID card and do not need to check in at the Pass House for daily visits. The $10 PPP processing fee will be waived for tournament golfers.
