Marine Corps Half Marathon at MCB Camp Lejeune
The Marine Corps Half Marathon began in 1987 and continued as a yearly tradition and is now one of the oldest continuously running Marine Corps Half Marathons aboard an active Marine Corps Base.
"What makes our race unique from other half marathons is the fact that it is held entirely aboard the installation," said Brian Crawford, Semper Fit Fitness Branch Manager. “We have runners from across the United States travel to run this race. Many of whom have never been on an active installation or have interacted with Marines," said Crawford.
