Marine Corps Seeks Top Male and Female Athletes

The Marine Corps is looking for its most accomplished athletes of 2024. Marines who have demonstrated exceptional performance in intramural, varsity, All-Marine, national, and international competitions are invited to be considered for the prestigious Male and Female Athletes of the Year awards. 

To qualify, the competitions must adhere to amateur regulations set by nationally recognized governing bodies or affiliated organizations under the United States Olympic Committee. Applicants must submit a professional biography detailing their athletic achievements in the 2024 calendar year, along with their professional Marine Corps background. 

Applicants are required to include documented results—times, scores, rankings—from the events they participated in during 2024. These results must be verifiable and reflect the athlete's standing in the competition. The application can be accessed at www.usmc-mccs.org/allmarinesports. Completed applications should be submitted via email to AllMarineSports@usmc-mccs.org. 

The deadline for submitting applications to HQMC Semper Fit is February 14, 2025. Each application must be endorsed by the applicant’s commanding officer (O5 level or higher) to be considered for the award.
