It's that time of year again and our MCAS New River Marina will host its annual Open House event on Saturday, June 1. The MCAS New River Marina is one of the most picturesque locales in all of the Lejeune-New River community.
MCCS will host and staff this amazing, free event filled with fun, food, and scenic views for all. Enjoy free hotdogs while supplies last. Both wet and dry inflatables will be set up, so bring your swimsuit! Kayaking, standup paddle boarding, and canoes will also be available for your use at no charge!
Leo Rubirosa, Operations Manager, Services Division, MCCS Lejeune-New River, said, "We take great pride in the variety of activities available to Marines and their families at MCAS New River Marina. Hosting this annual event is our opportunity to express our thanks to our community and showcase this hidden gem that offers abundant opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and making memories."
The event will also feature resource tables, dunk tanks, rock climbing wall, live DJ music, crafts, and food trucks.
