Tuition Assistance (TA)
Eligible for Active Duty Marines
The Marine Corps Tuition Assistance (TA) program supports eligible Marines, paying up to 100% of tuition and required fees for taking college courses while on active duty.

The MCCS Education Center offers a variety of testing services to help you advance your education and career. These services include college entrance exams, military classification testing, and career testing.

You may be eligible for college credit based on your military training. Submit your JST to colleges and universities to find out how much credit you may be awarded.

Military Academic Skills Program (MASP)
Eligible for Active Duty Marines
This intense, four-week, face-to-face class will improve your reading comprehension, writing, and math skills. It's open to all Marines, regardless of their enlistment status. MASP is specifically designed for Marines with General Technical (GT) ASVAB scores below 100.

Leadership Scholar Program (LSP)
Eligible for Active Duty Military
The Leadership Scholar Program (LSP) assists exceptional Marines, emphasizing junior enlisted, in pursuing education at selective schools. It offers application support, counseling, and partnerships with student veteran associations. LSP also negotiates favorable admissions conditions with college partners.

Career training that pays off
United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP)
Eligible for Active Duty Military
This career training program allows Marines to improve job skills and complete civilian apprenticeship requirements while on active duty. Upon completion, Marines earn a nationally recognized "Certificate of Completion of Journeyman Apprenticeship" from the U.S. Department of Labor.
